- Cleaning: Wash thoroughly with fresh water and a suitable basic cleaner to remove dirt, salt and algae.
- Degreasing: Use International VC General Thinner to degrease the surface.
- Light sanding: Sand lightly with 240 grit sandpaper to ensure good adhesion.
- Application of VC Offshore: Apply 2-3 coats of VC Offshore with a roller or sprayer. Remember to follow the specified drying times between coats.
Note:
- If your bottom is in poor condition or has many layers of old antifouling, it may be necessary to remove the old antifouling completely with Interstrip.
- When overpainting VC 17m Extra, please be aware that it contains zinc pyrithione, which may affect the adhesion of VC Offshore. Please contact us for advice if you are in doubt.
