This 10-micron petrol/diesel filter with disposable cartridge features a plastic filter head and is designed for filtering petrol or diesel. The filter retains particles down to 10 microns and uses a replaceable filter cartridge.
The filter head comes with 10 mm fittings. The tapered hose connectors are self-locking and self-sealing, providing a secure connection to the fuel hose without the need for separate sealing at the hose connector itself.
The total height is 145 mm, the protrusion is 110 mm, and the filter cartridge has a diameter of 92 mm. The cartridge is mounted with an 11/16" thread.
The flow rate depends on the pressure used: 182 l/h at 0.49 PSI, 315 l/h at 1.47 PSI, and 404 l/h at 2.45 PSI. These values allow for an assessment of the filter's flow capacity in relation to the operating conditions of the fuel system.
For service, the cartridge is replaced with spare part cartridge 17.660.45. The Mercury references 35-60494A4, 35-802893Q, and 35-807172 are linked to the product, but these numbers may cover both complete filter kits and separate filter cartridges. Therefore, always check the original part number and installation before purchase.
