This replacement filter lid is intended for the water filters in the 17.649 family. The spare part consists of a transparent polycarbonate lid and an included gasket.
The lid replaces the existing screw/threaded lid on the filter unit. The transparent design allows you to see inside the filter, while the polycarbonate material replaces the original lid without having to replace the entire filter.
The replacement filter lid fits water filter 17.649.02 with 1/2″ connections and 17.649.03 with 3/4″ connections. The connection sizes refer to the complete filter housings and are not the thread dimensions for the lid itself.
