This automatic inflatable life jacket with 165 N buoyancy is the 1852 Aero Plus in red for adults on board sailboats and motorboats.
The vest activates automatically upon contact with water via the UML Pro Sensor and inflates in approx. 3-4 seconds with the included 33 g CO₂ cartridge. A visible indicator shows whether the vest is ready for use, and the oral tube can be used for manual adjustment.
The cover is made of 600D polyester with a zipper closure, allowing the cartridge and trigger to be checked during inspection. The vest features an ergonomic low-profile fit, quick-release buckle, waist strap, back strap, crotch strap, lifting loop, and whistle. The model is without a D-ring and integrated harness and therefore cannot be used directly with a lifeline.
