This 2-pole cable socket is a female connector for cable mounting in maritime 12/24 V low-voltage installations. It is designed for a maximum current of 16 A and uses standard contacts.
The electrical conductors are connected using screw terminals. The socket is designed for mounting on a free cable and features integrated strain relief as well as protection against bending and kinking at the cable outlet.
The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water. A hinged lid protects the front of the socket when the connection is not in use.
