This 3-way electric Y-valve is a complete 12 V diverter valve for marine black water and drainage systems. The valve is used to direct the discharge flow between two alternative outlet paths and is intended for hoses or pipes with Ø 38 mm and Ø 25 mm.
The valve is operated electrically with an ON-OFF-ON switch and can be activated from a control panel or from the cabin. In the event of an electrical fault or failure, the valve can still be operated manually, allowing the system's discharge path to be redirected without electrical activation.
The Y-valve can, for example, be used to switch the toilet discharge between direct overboard discharge and a black water tank. It can also be used to choose between emptying the black water tank via a macerator or via a shore-based pump-out system. The external dimensions are 250 × 180 × 200 mm; the order is specified as total outer dimensions and not as uniquely defined length, width, and height.
The product is a complete electric valve and is based on the manual Y-valve with part no. 50.234.00. The separate 12 V electrification kit with part no. 50.231.12 is intended only for converting the manual valve. A separate 12/24 V control panel with fuse and switch is available as part no. 50.232.00.
