This spare filter cartridge for water/fuel filter separator is a replaceable filter element with a filtration fineness of 30 µm. The cartridge is intended for filtering diesel fuel in the compatible filter separators 17.661.27 and 17.661.37.
The filter cartridge retains particles in the diesel fuel as part of the filter separator's fuel filtration. The replaceable design makes it possible to service the filter unit by replacing the used filter element rather than the entire filter separator.
The cartridge has an 11/16" cartridge thread. The thread size is a mounting and compatibility specification for the filter element and must not be confused with the filter separator's hose connections or other installation threads.
The variant is specifically designed with 30 µm filtration for diesel. It must not be confused with spare cartridge 17.661.26, which is used for the documented 10 µm filter variants 17.661.24 and 17.661.35.
