This 7-pin plug and socket set is intended for the electrical connection between a towing vehicle and a trailer or caravan with a 12 V system. The set consists of one cable-mounted plug and one socket that fit together.
The plug and socket have seven pins for transferring the trailer's electrical connections. The socket is equipped with a hinged protective cover that closes over the connection when the plug is not inserted.
The external parts are made of black ABS, while the internal electrical parts are made of chrome-plated brass. This combination of materials provides a rust-resistant and long-lasting design for trailer use.
The set is type-approved for trailer use. No specific connection standard, IP rating, or maximum current intensity is specified, so the installation must be adapted to the trailer's documented 7-pin 12 V wiring system.
