This polyethylene access door creates a convenient entrance through a temporary polyethylene or shrink wrap cover. The door has external dimensions of 1750 × 750 mm and is intended for accessing the covered structure.
The U-shaped design features a three-sided zipper opening, allowing the door panel to be opened without removing the cover itself. The zipper acts as a closure, enabling the entrance to be opened and closed as needed.
The door is made of polyethylene and is a component in polyethylene and shrink wrap covering systems. It is not intended for use as a permanent boat door, hatch, or structural component.
For the installation of doors and openings in shrink wrap, polyethylene tape is available: item no. 46.186.00 in 50 mm width and 46.186.01 in 96 mm width. Vents 46.188.01 and 46.188.02 are related components for the ventilation of the same type of covering system.
