This full-bore ball shut-off valve in AISI 316 stainless steel, female/female is a manual valve for shutting off flow in maritime piping systems. The variant has a 2 1/2" internal thread at both ends.
The full bore of the valve provides a clear passage through the valve when it is fully open. The flow is opened and closed manually with the lever, allowing the valve to be used as a simple and direct shut-off valve in the installation.
The design is a two-piece ball valve. The valve is made of AISI 316 stainless steel, making it suitable for marine plumbing installations where components are exposed to a demanding environment.
The connection is female/female with two threaded connections. The connected components must therefore have matching 2 1/2" male threads. The specific thread standard must be checked against the other components of the installation before assembly.
