Cortex® V1 - VHF radio with SOTDMA SmartAIS and remote vessel monitoring

Cortex® V1 is a groundbreaking marine VHF radio that integrates VHF communication, SOTDMA SmartAIS, collision avoidance, and remote monitoring into one unified system. With an intuitive touchscreen handset, crystal-clear audio, and voice alerts, Cortex V1 changes the way you communicate and maintain situational awareness – both on board and on shore.

The system consists of a Cortex M1 hub and a Cortex H1 handset, which connect wirelessly via Wi-Fi®. The built-in SOTDMA AIS transponder constantly monitors traffic around you and proactively warns of collision risks – with directional voice alerts so you know exactly where the threat is coming from.

With up to 85 dBA of loud and clear audio, one-touch DSC calling directly from AIS targets, anchor watch, MOB function, and SquelchEQ + Omni Watch, which listens to all VHF channels simultaneously, you will never miss important communication.

Via the Cortex Onboard app, you have full control on board, while the Cortex Monitor app provides access to remote monitoring, alarms, and control of connected devices when you are not on the boat (subscription required for advanced features).

Cortex V1 is NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 compatible, features a built-in VHF/AIS splitter, low power consumption, and a rugged IPX7/IPX8-rated design developed for demanding maritime environments. One system – replacing up to 10 separate functions.
