Description
Your location is sent via your own AIS equipment to nearby vessels equipped with AIS equipment. The TB-520 is small, light and simple to use.
In an emergency, the TB-520 can be activated either automatically (via water sensor) or manually. When activated, an alert message is sent with GPS position and a unique AIS MOB number that is pre-programmed into the device. The device can be mounted on your life jacket with the included clips.
Remove the red cap to use the antenna. Pull off the yellow tab to manually activate the device. Hold the antenna up to ensure the best signal.
IP68 waterproof up to 50 meters. Battery life: Must be replaced after 5 years.
