This Amphibious Deep Case waterproof pouch protects small electronic devices and valuables during demanding activities on and in the water. The pouch measures 9 × 21 cm and can be submerged to a depth of up to 50 m.
The transparent construction is touchscreen-compatible, allowing a touchscreen to be operated through the pouch. It can be used for, for example, smaller mobile phones, GPS devices, handheld VHF radios, and cameras, provided the device dimensions fit the pouch.
The pouch is made of heavy-duty PVC and is closed with the Deep LOCK system. The material is resistant to friction and wear as well as prolonged exposure to water or mud. The construction uses high-frequency welding instead of through-stitching to support water resistance and durability during demanding use.
Amphibious water resistance class 7 indicates that the pouch is waterproof and submersible to 50 m. Buoyancy class 4 means that it is designed to remain buoyant. The classification is Amphibious' own and is not an IEC/EN IP class.
The included strap with quick-release allows the pouch to be fastened around the waist. It is suitable for activities such as diving, canyoning, rafting, canoeing, and other activities where electronics or valuables need to be protected. When used with electronic equipment, a desiccant bag can be used to reduce condensation inside the pouch.
