This AMPHIBIOUS Koala Micron waterproof waist bag is a compact, black bag for water-protected storage of smaller personal items during sailing, outdoor activities, and motorcycling. The model has a 3-liter capacity, measures 14 × 23 × 10 cm, and weighs 405 g.
The bag is made of robust 500 D PVC, also referred to as PVC HD. The Quick PROOF closure system can be closed from the top or the side and is equipped with a High LOCK security fastener. This combination provides a flexible opening and a secure closure when the system is used correctly.
The padded lumbar section features ventilating mesh fabric, while the padded and quickly adjustable hip belt ensures stable positioning around the waist. The belt has two external pockets, and the bag also features an internal pocket with a traditional zipper. Two ABS D-rings, a separate Cordura carry handle, and two reflective patches complement the construction.
The water protection is rated as class 5, offering resistance against high water pressure and prolonged exposure to water. This classification is not an IP rating. Flotation class 3 indicates that the bag can float for more than 24 hours. Compactness class 3 describes the bag's packing volume and should not be confused with the 3-liter capacity.
To achieve the intended waterproofness, the opening must be kept free of objects and rolled at least three times before locking. The Quick PROOF closure must not be used as a carry handle; use the separate Cordura handle instead.
