This Aquanet raw water strainer in the XL version is designed for filtering raw water in a boat engine's cooling system. The strainer has a stated flow capacity of 300 l/min and stepped hose barbs for 31 and 38 mm hoses.
The filter housing is made of technopolymer and is equipped with a transparent screw-on lid. The transparent lid allows you to check the condition of the filter without first opening the housing. For cleaning, the lid is unscrewed so that the filter element can be removed.
The removable filter element is made of stainless steel. The design makes it possible to remove collected debris and clean the filter element as part of the ongoing maintenance of the engine's cooling water circuit.
The filter measures Ø 173 × H 211 mm. The two stepped hose barbs are located on the underside and fit 1 1/4 inch/31 mm and 1 1/2 inch/38 mm hoses. The mounting bracket measures 124 mm in width and 60 mm in height.
The included snap-on bracket is intended for wall or bulkhead mounting. The filter housing can be released from the holder without removing the bracket itself, which facilitates access for inspection and cleaning.
