Wired remote control The Aquatic AV WR6 is a fixed-mount auxiliary control station for compatible Aquatic AV 6-Series marine audio systems. The wired 2-way communication allows you to both control the stereo unit and view song, track, and system information on the backlit LCD display.
The WR6 provides access to key audio functions such as play, pause, mute, volume, source selection, skipping tracks or stations, and fast forward/rewind. Depending on the connected stereo unit and the active audio source, the remote control can also handle random, repeat, VBass/Loud, radio bands, clock display, and audio settings such as bass, treble, balance, fader, and EQ. Two 12 V trigger outputs on compatible stereo units can also be operated from the WR6.
The front has an outer diameter of 92 mm and a polished stainless steel bezel. The remote control is designed for flush mounting on a flat surface with a panel cutout of Ø76 mm. The surface depth is 25 mm, while the required mounting depth is 28.8 mm. Mounting bracket and mounting screws are included.
The enclosure is IP65 rated and developed for marine, outdoor, and powersports audio systems. The construction is UV-tested according to ASTM D4329 for 500 hours and salt/fog tested according to ASTM B117 for 500 hours. The product is also listed according to CFR46. The WR6 is not recommended for spa or hot tub installations.
The remote control is powered by 12 V DC from the connected stereo unit. Power consumption is 50 mA during operation and 0.3 mA in standby. It is compatible with the BLUECUBE6 and SWA6 series, as well as the MP6 and CP6. The MP6 with item no. 29.548.81 and CP6 with item no. 29.548.79 can be used together with the WR6 as an auxiliary control station.
Connection and accessories
Installation requires a separate extension cable, which is not included. Connection cable 29.548.95 of 7.2 m can be used for the WR6. Aquatic AV EXT-3, EXT-24, and AQ-Y-1 Y-cable are also separate accessories for system configuration. The product comes with remote control, mounting bracket, and mounting screws, and has a 2-year warranty.
