This reinforced PVC edge profile with neoprene seal for fiberglass is a flexible profile for edging and sealing fiberglass edges with a material thickness of 4-5 mm. The variant is black and is supplied in a 50 m roll.
The profile is made of flexible, reinforced PVC and has an integrated expanded neoprene seal. The neoprene seal is watertight and is pressed against the adjacent closing surface, so the profile combines edge protection with sealing around the opening.
It is intended for use around hatches, storage compartments, engine cowlings, engine access points, and engine rooms, among other things. The flexible construction makes the profile suitable for edging fiberglass where there is also a need for an integrated sealing surface.
The variant-specific cross-section has a total horizontal dimension of 21 mm. The U-shaped edge profile has a vertical dimension of 17.5 mm, while the integrated seal has a vertical dimension of 15 mm. The opening at the bottom of the U-profile measures 5 mm and is intended for edges with a thickness of 4-5 mm.
The profile is supplied coiled as one complete delivery unit of 50 m. There is no documented self-adhesive backing, mounting glue, or specific mechanical fastening method.
