This ATI Boat Boiler A bivalent boat boiler has a capacity of 22 l and is designed for the production of domestic hot water on board. The cylindrical marine water heater can heat water indirectly via the boat engine's cooling water circuit or directly with the integrated 1250 W electric heating element at 230 V.
Indirect heating takes place through an enlarged, enamelled heat exchanger, which transfers heat from the engine's cooling water to the domestic water. When engine heat is not available, the electric heating element can be used for heating from a suitable 230 V supply.
Version A is constructed with a porcelain-glass/enamelled internal tank and an outer aluminium casing. Cathodic corrosion protection is provided by a magnesium anode, while the expanded polyurethane foam insulation between the tank and casing limits heat loss.
The boiler can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The total axial dimension including the flange is 485 mm, the boiler body itself has an axial length of 410 mm, and the centre distance between the mounting brackets is 335 mm. A safety valve calibrated to 4 bar is included in the design, and the tank has been tested at 8 bar.
The spare anode with item no. 50.289.54 is documented for the Boat Boiler models. A thermostatic mixing valve with item no. 50.189.58 can be used as a universal supplement for regulating the hot water output temperature. These parts are not listed as included.
