This ATI Boat Boiler A marine water heater with an enameled tank has a capacity of 45 l and is designed for the production of domestic hot water on board. The bivalent design allows for the water to be heated indirectly via the integrated heat exchanger or directly with the 1250 W, 230 V electric heating element.
The heat exchanger can be connected to the boat engine's cooling circuit so that excess heat from the engine is used for water heating. When engine heat is unavailable, the electric heating element can be used. The oversized heat exchanger is designed for efficient heat transfer.
Version A is made with a porcelain-glass/enameled tank, enameled heat exchanger, and an aluminum outer casing. Cathodic corrosion protection with a magnesium anode protects the tank, while expanded polyurethane between the tank and the casing reduces heat loss. The insulation can maintain the water temperature for at least 123 hours.
The water heater is cylindrical and can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. The variant data indicates 320 mm for the total dimension with flange (P), 880 mm for the boiler itself (L2), and 320 mm for the center distance between the brackets (L1).
The included safety valve is calibrated to 4 bar, and the tank has a test pressure of 8 bar. A replacement anode with item no. 50.289.54 is documented for the Boat Boiler series.
