This Attwood fuel tank vent with water trap and polished stainless steel exterior is designed for the fuel tank ventilation system on a boat. It combines tank ventilation with protection against water that could otherwise enter through the vent.
The vent features an integrated siphon/water trap and valve, designed to prevent water ingress into the hull. The 90° angled hose barb fits a 16 mm vent hose and directs the hose perpendicularly away from the hull fitting.
The housing is made of black nylon, while the visible outer part is crafted from polished stainless steel. During installation, the polished vent part is placed on the outside of the hull or bulkhead, while the nylon housing and the angled hose connection are placed on the inside.
The product is designed in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 21487 and is CE-marked. One tank vent is included.
