Automatic single-pole battery disconnect switch with separate coil supply for 12 V electrical systems. It functions as an electrically controlled main contactor between the battery and the boat's electrical installation and can disconnect either the positive or negative cable.
The battery disconnect switch can be controlled via the ignition switch so that the main power is disconnected automatically. This installation requires that the ignition switch has an additional contact stage or switching function. Alternatively, the switch can be operated with a separate ON/OFF switch that functions independently of the ignition key.
A separate control switch can be hidden and thus used as a simple anti-theft device. The remote-controlled function also makes it possible to place the main contactor itself close to the battery and route the control current to the desired operating position.
The switch is rated for 250 A continuous load and up to 2,500 A for 5 seconds. The main connections are made on 10 mm terminal studs, and the contacts are made of silver-plated copper. The housing has IP65 protection.
The product measures 144 × 95 × 98 mm overall and weighs 1.116 kg. The direct 24 V variant in the same single-pole product family has item no. 14.384.24.
