Automatically retractable shore power cable system for concealed installation in the boat's hull or a suitable storage compartment. This 32 A version is supplied with a 17 m cable with a conductor cross-section of 3 × 4 mm² and a 3-pin shore power plug for 230 V.
The cable is pulled manually out of the internal reel and connected directly to the shore power pedestal on the quay. The mechanism holds the extended cable length, and when the cable lock is released, the reel automatically retracts the cable. This allows the shore power cable to be stored hidden and organized without loose cable coiling on board.
Once the cable is retracted, the external lead-through is closed with a mirror-polished cover box in AISI 316 stainless steel. The closed external box has an IP44 rating, protecting the installation when the cable is stored.
The internal reel is supplied with adjustable and orientable mounting brackets. The position can be adjusted in relation to the hull lead-through, and the recommended maximum guide angle between the reel and the lead-through is 80°. The documented dimensions of the reel are W = 460 mm and D = 340 mm.
The external lead-through is mounted in a recommended installation hole of Ø 80 mm and secured with four screws. A suitable sealant should be used around the lead-through. The system includes an automatic cable reel, mounting brackets, 17 m cable, 3-pin 32 A plug, and external stainless steel cover box.
