This AUTOTERM Comfort Control digital control panel for heaters provides menu-based control of compatible AUTOTERM Air heaters and Flow liquid heaters. The panel features a display, a rotary push-button, a back button, a quick-access button, and LED status indicators, allowing operating mode, temperature, timers, and settings to be managed from a single user interface.
The integrated digital temperature sensor has a stated deviation of ±1.5 °C. When connected to an air heater, the temperature measurement can be selected from the panel's sensor, the sensor in the heater, or a separate external temperature sensor, if one is installed. The temperature can be set from 0 to 30 °C in 1 °C increments. Depending on the connected heater, there is access to temperature mode, power mode, heating combined with ventilation, thermostat mode, and ventilation without heating.
The panel supports up to three separate timers, which can be active simultaneously and configured individually. Schedules can apply to every day, Monday to Friday, or selected days of the week. The timer runtime for air heaters can be set from 30 to 720 minutes in 5-minute increments. Manual operation can be set from 30 minutes to continuous operation with 5-minute intervals up to 2 hours and 20-minute intervals from 2 to 12 hours.
The display can show the time, supply voltage, temperature, active operating mode, and active timers. A choice can be made between English, Dutch, German, Polish, Spanish, Italian, French, Czech, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish. The panel supports metric and imperial units as well as adjustment of brightness, sleep time, and screensaver. The LED indicators show, among other things, heating, ventilation, shutdown, active timers, and error status.
Additional features include quick start with the most recently used settings, error messages, display of serial numbers and software versions, total operating time, maintenance reminder, battery protection with adjustable shutdown voltage, as well as factory reset. Programmed timers and other settings are saved in the event of a power failure, while the time and date must be set again.
The control panel measures 82 × 37 × 19 mm, and the visible display measures 37 × 20 mm. The panel can be mounted with screws or double-sided adhesive tape. The existing panel cable is 1.8 m, and the optional 5 m extension cable with part no. 50.251.12 can be used. The described cable configuration with two 5 m extensions provides a total cable run of up to 11.8 m.
The panel is compatible with AUTOTERM Air 2D, Air 4D, Air 9D, and Travel Box 2.0, as well as AUTOTERM Flow 5D, Flow 5B, and Flow 14D. The available menus and features depend on the connected heater and its hardware and software version. Ventilation without heating is not supported by Flow liquid heaters, and compatibility with older heaters must be checked separately.
