This AUTOTERM air distribution kit for AIR 4D air heaters is designed to distribute heated air from an AIR 4D heater to four separate air outlets. The kit contains the necessary accessories for establishing air distribution and is configured for a Ø90 mm ducting system.
The configuration consists of one permanently open air outlet and three adjustable and closable air outlets. Distribution is established using two Y-shaped connectors and one T-shaped connector, while the included Ø90 mm air duct has a total length of 10 m.
During installation, the air duct must start with at least Ø90 mm at the AIR 4D heater. The first meter should be routed as straight as possible, and sharp or 90° bends should be avoided in this section. Air ducts must not be pinched or deformed, as increased air resistance can reduce heat distribution and lead to overheating.
When distributing to multiple ducts, at least one air outlet must remain permanently open. The kit's combination of one open and three closable outlets meets this installation requirement. Y-shaped connectors should be used where the installation allows to limit airflow resistance.
The kit is compatible with the AUTOTERM AIR 4D air heater and can be used with AIR 4D heaters with item nos. 50.254.12 and 50.254.24. The air distribution kit is passive and therefore has no independent voltage or power.
Control panels and associated cables are not part of the air distribution kit. System-related operating products include the 50.251.11 analog control panel, 50.251.01 digital control panel, and 50.251.12 5 m extension cable.
