Liquid heat exchanger with integrated fan from AUTOTERM/SIROCO is an active liquid-to-air heat exchanger for distributing heat from a liquid-based AUTOTERM Flow heating system. The TENERE PERFORMA 3D60 converts the heat in the coolant into forced hot air and distributes it through three Ø60 mm air outlets.
The integrated centrifugal fan is driven by a permanent-magnetized 12 V DC motor with high and low speed. The nominal air volume is 314 m³/h, while the heat output is 6.05 kW with an ethylene glycol-based heat carrier. With water, the heat output can reach approximately 6.65 kW at 0 °C air intake, 0.5 m³/h liquid flow, 100 °C water temperature at the inlet, and free air flow. The fan can also be used for air circulation without active heating.
The heat exchanger has one Ø16 mm liquid inlet and one Ø16 mm liquid outlet. The flow direction marked on the unit must be observed, and the heating circuit must be bled after installation, as air in the heat exchanger reduces performance. The heat carrier must be frost-resistant and protect copper and aluminum against corrosion.
The cabinet's plastic parts are made of polypropylene. The product measures approximately 271 mm in width, 114 mm in height, and 224 mm in depth. It is intended for remote or concealed mounting, where the three Ø60 mm air hoses are routed to separate, adjustable air vents. An optional air intake nozzle of up to Ø70 mm can be mounted for fresh air or recirculation.
The unit can be mounted on a plate from above or below with four Ø6 mm mounting holes. Four 5.5 × 14 mm screws are included; the maximum plate thickness is 3 mm, and the recommended tightening torque is 3 Nm. Do not drill into the cabinet. The installation site must be ventilated, provide free air supply, and be protected against direct liquid splashes.
The model has no integrated thermostat or control switch. The electrical connection is 3-pole with a separate positive connection for high and low speed respectively, and a common 12 V negative. Installation requires at least 1.5 mm² wire and a dedicated 10 A fuse. A three-position switch, item no. 50.266.30, or the AUTOTERM FR057 can be used for operation. The 3-pole connector FR053 is compatible, but not included.
The FR014 is compatible with AUTOTERM Flow 5 D, Flow 5 B, and Flow 14D. It can receive heated liquid from heaters with item numbers 50.261.12, 50.262.12, and 50.262.24. The heat exchanger fan always requires 12 V, even when the heat source is a 24 V model. Compatible liquid accessories include the Ø16 mm control valve FR036, bleed valve FR022, T-piece FR023, and Y-piece FR024.
Professional installation is recommended. The permitted ambient temperature is −25 to +80 °C, and the maximum permitted internal temperature is 100 °C. Together with an AUTOTERM Flow heater, the maximum achievable internal temperature is 88 °C.
