Belt-mounted inflatable life jacket with 150 N buoyancy is a compact personal flotation device worn around the waist like a fanny pack. The design occupies minimal space during normal use, while the life jacket can be unfolded and pulled over the head when needed.
Inflation is activated manually using a pull handle or a pull cord. After activation, the yellow flotation part is removed from the blue belt pouch and pulled over the head, positioning it around the neck and upper body. The inflated front section features reflective panels.
The life jacket uses a replaceable gas cylinder with a 33 g charge. The documented spare cylinder has item no. 22.401.10 and can be used when replacing the cylinder.
The product is rated in buoyancy class 150 N and complies with the EN ISO 12402-3 standard. It is also AS1512 certified and type-approved. Compliance includes Directive 89/686/EEC on personal protective equipment as well as EC type-examination certificate CE 569318, dated April 19, 2016.
The manual activation means that inflation must be actively triggered. The life jacket is not documented as automatic or water-activated.
