This Barigo Sky thermo-hygrometer in polished stainless steel with white dial is a combined analogue thermometer and hygrometer for monitoring temperature and relative humidity on board. The instrument is developed for yacht and marine environments and allows for indoor climate monitoring without a power supply.
The temperature is displayed in °C, while the relative humidity is read as a percentage. The marked comfort zone makes it easier to assess the balance between temperature and humidity in cabins, saloons, or other living areas.
The round instrument housing is made of polished stainless steel and combined with a white dial. The housing measures Ø110 × 32 mm, and the dial itself has a diameter of 85 mm. The analogue construction requires neither batteries nor electrical connection.
The thermo-hygrometer is designed for wall mounting. For a representative reading, it should be placed away from direct sunlight, heat sources, draughts, cold exterior walls, and window areas, as these conditions can affect the reading.
During long-term storage or use in very dry environments, the hygrometer’s measuring element may require regeneration. It is recommended to regenerate the hygrometer part at least every three months by placing the instrument for approximately six hours in a closed container over water without direct contact with the water, and then adjusting the hygrometer to 95% relative humidity. If necessary, the thermometer needle can be compared with a known accurate thermometer and adjusted via the back.
