This Bennett hydraulic control kit for trim tabs is a complete 24 V electro-hydraulic control and actuator set for Bennett Standard/Classic trim tab systems. The kit is used in conjunction with existing or separately purchased trim tabs, which are not included.
The hydraulic pump creates the pressure that lowers the trim tabs, while the pump's reverse direction raises them again. Two solenoid valves direct the hydraulic fluid to the port or starboard actuator and hydraulically lock, holding the trim tabs in the selected position. The ES2000 panel's two rocker switches allow the trim tabs to be operated individually or simultaneously.
The system can adjust the boat's running angle according to speed, sea conditions, and load distribution. Correct use of the trim tabs can help the boat plane faster, correct list, reduce porpoising, and adjust the bow angle for better visibility.
The kit includes a V351HPU2 24 V hydraulic pump, two standard A1101A hydraulic actuators, a waterproof ES2000 Euro Rocker control panel, and electrical wiring. The hydraulic pump features solenoid valves, a fluid reservoir, and a protective Lexan cover. The transparent reservoir allows for visual inspection of the fluid level. The pump measures approximately 102 × 191 × 140 mm and uses automatic transmission fluid, ATF.
The two maintenance-free standard actuators feature a flexible nylon hinge and an actuator body made of impact-resistant, glass-fiber reinforced nylon. The hydraulic supply is routed internally through the upper hinge, so there is no exposed hydraulic hose on the outside of the actuator. Each actuator has a total length of 340 mm in the retracted position and 420 mm in the extended position.
The ES2000 panel is flush-mounted into the dashboard or console. The face measures 70 × 70 mm, and the specified cutout dimension is 56 × 50 mm. A hydraulic 24 V standard system is protected by a 10 A inline fuse, and the system's standard hydraulic tubing has a 1/4" outside diameter.

The complete unit has manufacturer number V351HUC2E and Yamaha cross-reference 6BT-50078-70-00. The hydraulic pump is available as a spare part under item no. 51.238.24, the actuator under item no. 51.237.00, and the ES2000 panel under item no. 51.239.04. In cases of limited transom space, the short A1200S actuator, item no. 51.237.01, can be chosen instead. An installation with two actuators per trim tab requires two additional standard actuators as well as fitting kit 51.240.00.
