This BAC Bera 102 zinc anode is intended for hull protection on larger boats and protects the hull's metal parts against galvanic corrosion underwater.
The zinc anode gradually degrades instead of the more expensive metal parts on the hull, shaft, and rudder. It has a protective current of 33 amp/hours and a weight of 10.2 kg.
The anode is supplied with pre-drilled mounting holes for direct installation on the hull. Clean the contact surface of paint and rust before installation to ensure direct metal contact, and tighten the screws well.
