This Bera zinc shaft anode is designed for installation on 60 mm diameter propeller shafts and protects the shaft against galvanic corrosion by sacrificing itself.
The anode has an outer diameter of 85 mm and features a metal insert at the bolt hole, which distributes tension during tightening and reduces the risk of cracks in the zinc material.
Clean the shaft of paint and rust before installation to ensure direct metal-to-metal contact. The anode is supplied with bolts and nuts and must be tightened so that it is secure and does not rotate during operation.
