Rigid polycarbonate protective cover for Power Post cable assembly in Midi version. The separate cover covers and protects the terminal points on compatible Power Post cable assemblies.
The cover is made of rigid, clear polycarbonate. It fits cable assemblies with item nos. 14.205.04, 14.205.05, and 14.205.06. All three cable assemblies have a base of 50 × 41 mm, which is a compatibility dimension and not the outer product dimension of the cover.
Compatibility includes the Midi variant 14.205.04 with two 8 mm terminal studs, the Midi-B variant 14.205.05 with one 8 mm and one 10 mm terminal stud, as well as the Big variant 14.205.06 with two 10 mm terminal studs. The cover is not intended for the Mini cable assembly 14.205.03, which uses the separate cover with item no. 14.205.13.
As alternative, separate terminal protectors, cable assemblies 14.205.04 and 14.205.05 can be used with the soft PVC caps 14.987.01 in black and 14.988.01 in red. For cable assembly 14.205.06, the corresponding 14.987.02 in black and 14.988.02 in red are used.
