This chrome-plated brass tarp bow fitting is used as an end holder for a flexible batten that forms a support arch under a boat tarp or boat cover. The set consists of two fittings with white PVC caps and measures 67 × 14 mm.
The fittings are permanently mounted on the boat's inner edge or gunwale. When a flexible batten is placed between the two fittings, the batten bends into an arch, which supports the tarp and helps keep it elevated. The product is a support fitting and not a complete tarp bow or bimini.
