This polished AISI 316 bimini fork mount is designed for mounting a bimini, sprayhood, or sun shade into the existing oarlock holder on a dinghy or inflatable boat. The mount creates a connection point for the bimini or sprayhood structure without being mounted directly onto a tube.
The cylindrical mounting pin measures Ø12 × 23 mm and is inserted into the boat's oarlock holder or oarlock socket. The holder must therefore have suitable dimensions to accommodate the pin. The mount is not documented as universal, so the dimensions of the oarlock holder should be checked before ordering.
The mount is made of AISI 316 stainless steel with a polished surface. The material and finish are suitable for marine use, where the mount is exposed to moisture and splashes.
The mount can be used together with a suitable self-locking detent pin with a double ball lock. Pins in the 37.264.xx series are documented for this type of fork mount, but the required length depends on the installation and must be selected separately.
