This bistable remote battery switch with mechanical latching is intended for 24 V battery systems. It disconnects the battery's positive main connection and is controlled by a separate external ON/OFF switch.
The mechanically latched design means that the switch remains open or closed without continuous power consumption. The state only changes with the next control impulse, making the unit suitable as a remote-controlled main power switch in battery installations.
The switch is rated for 250 A continuous current and up to 2,500 A for 5 seconds. The main contacts are made of silver-plated copper, and the main terminals are M12. The enclosure has IP56 protection.
An external LED status indicator can be connected to show whether the switch is open or closed. Multiple switches can be installed in parallel so that several battery groups can be controlled simultaneously.
The product measures 164 × 95 × 98 mm. It is supplied with manual emergency operation, allowing the main contacts to be operated manually if the normal remote control cannot be used.
The optional output connector with item no. 14.383.50 is documented as a compatible accessory for this 24 V variant.
