This soft horseshoe-shaped lifebuoy is an orange lifebuoy with a flexible core made of Ethafoam. It is intended as a buoyant rescue device for maritime safety equipment.
The core is encased in a waterproof polyester cover that is resistant to UV radiation. The combination of the soft foam core and the horseshoe-shaped design gives the lifebuoy a flexible structure.
The lifebuoy has nominal product dimensions of 50 × 50 × 10 cm. The outer cover can be removed and washed, which facilitates cleaning and ongoing maintenance.
For separate mounting, bracket item no. 22.418.00 can be used. The bracket is designed for pipes with a diameter of 20–25 mm. Separate storage covers are available in white, item no. 22.424.31, blue, item no. 22.424.32, and gray, item no. 22.424.33. A floating rescue light, 30.583.00, can be used as an accessory.
The lifebuoy is also included in the separate complete sets 22.424.01, 22.424.02, and 22.424.03, which include a storage cover, rescue light, and line. Bracket, storage cover, rescue light, and line are not included with this basic version.
