This soft horseshoe lifebuoy set with rail mount and floating lifebuoy light is an orange safety solution for storing a lifebuoy and light on the vessel. The set consists of a soft horseshoe-shaped lifebuoy, a stainless steel holder, and a floating LED lifebuoy light.
The lifebuoy has a core of soft Ethafoam and a waterproof, UV-resistant cover made of polyester fabric. The cover is removable and washable. The lifebuoy itself measures 50 × 50 × 10 cm; these dimensions apply to the lifebuoy and not the entire mounted set.
The holder is made of stainless steel and is mounted on rails or pulpits with an external diameter of Ø 20–25 mm. The construction gathers the lifebuoy and lifebuoy light in a fixed storage location, where the equipment can be kept together on board.
The included Mini One lifebuoy light is a floating LED light that uses 2 × AA batteries. The light is activated automatically by tipping or tilting and has a rotating safety switch that must be activated before use. Mounting bracket for the light is included. The lifebuoy light is MED-approved for use on commercial and recreational vessels; the approval applies to the light component and not the complete set.
The set includes the orange lifebuoy 22.416.02, the holder 22.418.00, and the floating LED lifebuoy light 30.583.00. Alternative covers for the lifebuoy are available as documented accessories in white, blue, and gray with part numbers 22.424.31, 22.424.32, and 22.424.33. A lifebuoy line is not part of the specified set contents.
