Description
Roller-free stainless steel eye terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to hold the end of a steel wire so that the wire can only move in one direction. It can be used functionally, for example, to fasten a structure, or architecturally, for exhibition purposes. In addition, they can be used to fasten a mast to so-called stays, to stabilize the mast, and thus the boat.
Terminals are normally rolled tightly around the steel wire, i.e. the terminal is clamped around the steel wire using a special tool to secure it to an anchor point.
With roller-free terminals, you don't need to use a special tool. Instead, you unscrew the terminal, place the wire, and screw it back together to secure the steel wire.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures their products from a block of stainless steel, meaning there are no welds and their products can therefore withstand additional stress.
