This Bluetooth marine audio amplifier is a compact 12 V audio solution for small and medium-sized boats. Music is played directly from a Bluetooth device such as a smartphone or tablet, eliminating the need to mount a separate stereo or head unit in the dashboard.
The amplifier features four full-range speaker channels at 30 W RMS each, as well as two dedicated subwoofer channels at 60 W RMS each. Passive low-impedance speakers can be connected directly. The unit can be combined with stereo speakers up to 8 inches, provided the speaker power and impedance match the installation.
Bluetooth 4.0 provides wireless connectivity to most Bluetooth audio sources. In addition, there is an analog AUX input. Bluetooth has automatic priority over AUX: when a Bluetooth connection is established, the amplifier switches to Bluetooth, and after disconnection, it reverts to the still-connected AUX source.
Connections include four ports for full-range speakers and two ports for subwoofers. On the amplifier itself, there is a switch between Bluetooth and AUX, a power indicator, bass control, and volume control. A startup tone confirms that the unit is powered on when a speaker is connected.
The housing measures 206 mm in length, 48 mm in height, and 148 mm in depth. The amplifier connects to a 12 V DC system, and a 12 V power supply is included.
