This bushing set for railing stanchion for Ø 38 mm carbon fiber pole is used to secure one carbon fiber pole in a Bimini, sun sail, or shade cover system on a boat. The set is intended for mounting on a tubular railing or lifeline stanchion with a diameter of Ø 25/30 mm.
The construction consists of a lower and an upper support in stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface. The lower support is designed as a closed, blind support, forming the base for the pole. The upper support is through-hole, allowing the pole to be inserted and secured within the dual mounting assembly.
The bushings are mounted on the railing stanchion or tube using a counter-flange and two M6 screws. This fastening method secures the support around the tube without confusing the railing stanchion's Ø 25/30 mm dimension with the carbon fiber pole's compatibility dimension of Ø 38 mm.
