This Bomar Flagship oval portlight in AISI 316 stainless steel is an opening model 717 for installation in the boat's hull or superstructure. The portlight has external dimensions of 438 × 210 mm, an oval mounting cutout of 412 × 184 mm, and a clear opening of 333 × 105 mm.
The frame is manufactured from mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel and combined with a smoke-colored acrylic lens. The design features hidden exterior fasteners, so the visible exterior appears without exposed screw heads. A deep drainage angle helps lead water away from the portlight.
The portlight is secured with adjustable quick-acting wing nuts. The locking handles are designed without protruding or overhanging parts. The opening construction allows for ventilation, while the included insect screen limits the access of insects.
The special mounting system connects the portlight to the interior trim ring in one operation. Trim ring/counter-flange and insect screen are included. This variant is intended for a hull or wall thickness of 10–22 mm.
