This Bomar Flagship oval opening porthole in model 620 is designed for installation in the hull or cabin side of a boat. The opening design allows for ventilation, while the large smoke-colored acrylic lens ensures good light intake and visibility.
The porthole has external dimensions of 216 × 444 mm and requires an oval mounting cutout of 191 × 419 mm. It can be installed in a hull or wall construction with a thickness of 6–35 mm. External attachment is performed with hidden screws, so there are no visible screw heads on the outside.
The housing and frame are made of white nylon, while the lens is made of smoke-colored acrylic glass. The mounting hardware is made of 316L stainless steel. A beveled exterior helps to shed water, and the deep integrated drainage design supports use in a maritime environment.
The adjustable quick-acting dogs allow the porthole to be closed securely and the closing function to be adjusted. The porthole is supplied with an exterior trim ring and an insect screen, which limits the entry of insects when it is open. The design is CE certified.
