This Bomar Flushdeck deck hatch is a square, openable low-profile hatch in a black finish for marine use. Model 966 in the Bomar 900 Series Molded provides access to, for example, a cabin or dry storage compartments and can also be used for ventilation.
The deck flange measures 480 × 480 mm, while the installation requires a square cutout of 428 × 428 mm with a 43 mm corner radius. The clear opening is 414 × 414 mm. The lid's maximum external dimensions are 486 × 492 mm, and the hatch height above the deck is 25 mm.
The hatch features a smoke-colored lens and quick-acting, click-operated security handles. It can be closed and locked from the inside, while a support arm holds the lid in the open position. The design also supports a ventilation position when air circulation is desired without full opening.
The molded plastic construction is equipped with fittings and fasteners in 316L stainless steel as well as heavy-duty hinges. An interior trim ring is included to finish the opening on the inside.
For model 966, the separate mosquito screen GS 966 / GS966--18 is available. Documented spare parts include the gasket GP904-16, the support arm GP909-03, the left and right locking handles GP911-01 and GP911-02, the gasket kit GP904-02, as well as the handle part P2000-27.
