This Bomar Flushdeck hatch is a square, openable hatch for deck mounting on boats. The black model G995 has external dimensions of 570 × 570 mm and a smoked lens, which allows light through without being completely transparent.
The hatch requires a cutout of 501 × 501 mm and provides a clear opening of 489 × 489 mm. The profile height is 25 mm. It is supplied with an interior trim/counter flange, which provides a finished look around the mounting opening on the inside.
The molded main structure and the smoked lens are made of polycarbonate. Fittings and fasteners are made of 316L stainless steel. The construction includes heavy-duty hinges and a support arm that holds the hatch lid in the selected open position.
The quick-action locking handles are designed for rapid operation and can be locked from the inside. The adjustable locks also allow the hatch to be set in a ventilation position, for example when ventilating a cabin or a dry storage compartment.
The deck hatch is type-tested by the IMCI under certificate HPOMP140 according to ISO 12216. The certification covers all boat types, area II, and design category B.
