This Bomar Flushdeck polycarbonate deck hatch, 480 × 480 mm is a square, openable hatch for mounting on decks and other marine surfaces. The white hatch construction is combined with a smoke-tinted polycarbonate pane, which provides light entry without being a fully clear window.
The hatch is made of 100% polycarbonate and belongs to the Bomar 900 Series Molded, model 966/G966. The molded construction features heavy-duty hinges, stainless steel fittings, and snap handles with a safety function. The hatch is closed and locked from the inside, and the adjustable closing devices include a ventilation position.
The external deck flange measures 480 × 480 mm, while the mounting cutout must be 428 × 428 mm with a 43 mm corner radius. The clear light opening is 414 × 414 mm. The external contour of the lid itself measures 486 × 492 mm, and the hatch has a protrusion of 25 mm above the mounting surface.
An interior trim ring is included so that the opening can be finished on the inside. The design also includes quick-action closing/clamping handles and a support arm. For model 966, the compatible GS 966 insect/net screen is available as additional accessory.
The deck hatch is CE-marked and intended for marine installations. Check the cutout dimensions, corner radius, and available mounting space before installation.
