This Bomar SS Flagship oval opening portlight in AISI 316 stainless steel is model 716/S716 with external dimensions of 400 × 200 mm. It is designed for mounting in the boat's hull or superstructure and combines daylight, visibility, and the option for ventilation.
The portlight is mounted in an oval cutout of 375 × 175 mm and fits a hull or mounting thickness of 10–22 mm. The clear light opening is 295 × 95 mm. Externally, space must be provided for the portlight and trim ring of 400 × 200 mm.
The frame is manufactured from mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel, while the opening lens is made of smoke-colored acrylic. The high-gloss polished frame features hidden external screws, ensuring there are no visible fasteners on the outside. A molded gasket is included in the construction.
The lens is secured with adjustable quick-action locking handles with no protruding parts. The beveled exterior and the deep drain angle guide water away from the opening and support a tight marine installation under demanding weather conditions.
The special mounting system connects the portlight with the trim ring in one quick operation, which simplifies installation. The product is CE-approved and comes with a matching trim ring as well as an insect screen, allowing the portlight to be opened for ventilation with protection against insects.
