This fuel tank vent shut-off valve is a standard inline unit for the fuel tank vent hose. It allows air to pass during refuelling, but blocks fuel when it reaches the valve.
The shut-off function reduces the risk of fuel leaking through the tank vent and leaving fuel streaks on the boat's hull. During venting, the passage of air is heard as a hissing sound. When the fuel reaches the valve, the airflow stops, as does the sound, indicating that the tank is full.
The valve is installed inline in the vent hose and features Ø16 mm hose barbs at both ends. The total length is 117 mm, and the maximum diameter of the valve body is Ø36 mm.
