This fuel cut-off valve for tank ventilation is mounted inline in the fuel tank vent line. The valve allows air to pass through the vent but blocks liquid fuel when it reaches the valve.
The valve is manufactured from hard plastic and is installed with a protective Pyrojacket sleeve. The sleeve is secured with the included heat-resistant ties and protects the assembly at high temperatures. No numerical temperature limit is specified.
The protected and approved type has a maximum length of 120 mm and a diameter of 40 mm. The valve body itself measures 117 mm in length and Ø36 mm. The hose connectors are Ø16 mm and are intended for inline connection in the fuel tank vent hose.
The design is ENAVE-approved according to ISO 7840. The approval is identified as Quality Declaration 22003-030/EQA and is based, among other things, on test report RPC-C 057-22.
