This mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel fuel tank vent is a straight model for venting fuel tanks in marine installations. The external head has a diameter of 49 mm, and the bright, mirror-polished surface provides a uniform finish on the hull or bulkhead side.
The vent is made of cast AISI 316 stainless steel. The through-hull design mounts in a Ø38 mm hole and can be used through a hull or bulkhead thickness of 8–27 mm. The straight hose connection is intended for a Ø19 mm vent hose.
An integrated flame arrestor limits the passage of flames through the tank vent. The flame arrestor can be removed for easier cleaning and maintenance without replacing the entire vent.
The product is designed in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 21487 for permanently installed fuel tanks in small craft. It is also covered by a RoHS declaration of conformity regarding Directive 2011/65/EU, Annex II, as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863.
