This fuel tank vent in mirror-polished AISI 316 with water ingress protection is designed for venting a marine fuel tank system. The external part features a shiny, corrosion-resistant surface, making it suitable for visible mounting on the boat.
The vent has an integrated flame arrestor with a microporous element in nickel-plated bronze. The design combines tank ventilation with protection against flames and water that could otherwise enter through the vent opening during wash-over.
The hose barb has an outer diameter of 16 mm. The mirror-polished head measures 35 mm in diameter and has a protrusion of 7.5 mm from the mounting surface, providing a low external profile.
The product is mounted through a hull or panel and secured with a lock nut on the back. The hose barb is positioned behind the mounting surface, where it connects to the fuel tank vent hose.
The vent is designed in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 21487. The vent water trap, item no. 20.251.00, can be used as an additional accessory for Ø16 mm vents and helps to further prevent water ingress from the outside.
