This fuel tank vent in mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel is a straight model for venting fuel tanks and fuel systems in marine installations. The cast head has a diameter of 45 mm, and the mirror-polished surface provides a uniform finish on the visible part of the installation.
The vent is designed for a hose or pipe with a diameter of 16 mm. It is mounted through a bulkhead or panel and requires a mounting hole of Ø 35 mm. The design is suitable for a bulkhead or panel thickness of 7–24 mm.
An integrated flame-arresting mesh reduces the risk of flames passing through the tank's vent opening. The mesh can be removed for easier cleaning and maintenance.
The product is designed according to the requirements of UNI EN ISO 21487 for permanently installed fuel tanks and fuel systems in small craft. It is also covered by a RoHS declaration of conformity regarding Directive 2011/65/EU, Annex II, as well as amending Directive (EU) 2015/863.
